Designed to fit in a tight spot this 4.5m x 3m pilates studio required full planning permission due to it’s conservation area location and the fact that the property is two flats which means regardless of who owns the garden or even if it’s not in a conservation area, planning permission will be required.
To further complicate matters our client wanted to use the garden fitness studio to offer one to one tuition. In other words run her business from home. Despite some minor opposition planning consent was granted which was achieved by our in house planning team.
